Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce


Ingredients:
12 ounces rotini pasta
1 pound ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
Drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
Make the Garlic Base
In the same skillet, heat olive oil or butter.
Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Prepare the Sauce
Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and whisk for 1-2 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Gradually add the milk while whisking to create a smooth sauce.
Add Seasonings and Cheese
Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
Combine Everything
Return the cooked beef and drained pasta to the skillet.
Toss to coat everything evenly in the creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce.
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
