Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tail on or off)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth for non-alcoholic)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (or mix of oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs (adds a nice crunch)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a lightly greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine:
    • Melted butter
    • Garlic
    • White wine (or broth)
    • Lemon juice
    • Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning
  4. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan and breadcrumbs evenly on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, or until shrimp are pink, opaque, and cooked through.
  7. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end to get the topping golden and crispy (optional).
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
