Classic Cherry Delight recipe

*Ingredients:*

– 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
– ¼ cup granulated sugar
– ½ cup melted butter

– 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped until stiff peaks)

*For the topping:*
– 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

*Instructions:*

1. *Make the crust*:
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish. Chill for 15 minutes.

2. *Prepare the filling*:
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then fold in the whipped cream gently.

3. *Assemble*:
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust evenly.

4. *Top it off*:
Spoon cherry pie filling over the top.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving.
