1–2 jalapeño peppers, minced (adjust heat to taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lb ground turkey
½ cup almond flour (or breadcrumbs if you prefer)
2 tbsp finely minced onion
1 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, and minced jalapeños to form a cheesy filling.
2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey with almond flour, onion, garlic, and salt until well combined.
3. Divide the turkey mixture into portions and flatten each into a patty.
4. Place a spoonful of the cheese-jalapeño filling in the center of half the patties, then top with the remaining patties. Seal the edges well to keep the filling inside.
5. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat, lightly greased. Cook burgers for 6–8 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
6. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings — every bite has a spicy, cheesy surprise inside!
