Ingredients

– 1 cup desiccated coconut
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– A pinch of salt
Steps
Now that we have our ingredients ready, let’s move on to the steps:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, desiccated coconut, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
6. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into biscuits using your hands.
7. Place the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits turn golden brown.
