Ingredients:
1 lb steak, thinly sliced
1 tsp garlic salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
8–10 slices White American cheese
20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries (or your favorite fries)
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Cook waffle fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
2. While fries bake, heat olive oil in a skillet. Add sliced steak, season with garlic salt & black pepper, and cook until browned.
3. Add bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sauté until tender.
4. Layer hot fries on a large platter or skillet.
5. Top with steak, peppers, and onions. Lay cheese slices over the top so they melt from the heat (or pop under the broiler for 1–2 min).
6. Serve immediately and enjoy cheesy, steak-loaded goodness!
