PIONEER WOMAN CHEESEBURGER PIE


Ingredients

– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup milk
– 3 large eggs
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
– Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, pickles, and additional cheese

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat The Oven
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Cook The Beef
– In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Prepare The Batter
– In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, paprika, and mustard powder until smooth.

Step 4: Assemble The Pie
– Grease a 9-inch pie dish. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over
