Zesty Jalapeno Salt

Ingredients

– 1 cup sea salt

– 2-3 fresh jalapenos

– 1 tablespoon garlic powder

– 1 tablespoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

How to Prepare

1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) .

2. Slice the jalapenos in half and remove the seeds for less heat, if desired .

3. Place the jalapeno halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper .

4. Bake the jalapenos for about 2 hours until they are dried out and crisp .

5. In a food processor, combine the dried jalapenos, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika .

6. Pulse until you achieve a fine consistency and everything is well mixed .

7. Store your jalapeno salt in an airtight container for up to 6 months .

8. Use it to season meats, veggies, or even popcorn for a spicy kick!
